Expert PU College Announces ‘Xcelerate 2025’ – A Science Extravaganza for Young Innovators

Expert Pre-University College, Kodialbail, under the aegis of the Expert Group of Institutions, has announced the launch of ‘Xcelerate 2025’, an inter-school science fest aimed at igniting curiosity and innovation among high school students.

Mangaluru, Aug.15: Expert Pre-University College, Kodialbail, under the aegis of the Expert Group of Institutions, has announced the launch of ‘Xcelerate 2025’, an inter-school science fest aimed at igniting curiosity and innovation among high school students. The event will be held on October 18, 2025, and is open to students of Classes 8, 9, and 10 from Dakshina Kannada and Udupi districts.

Speaking at the press conference, Prof. Narendra L Nayak, Chairman of the Expert Group of Institutions, described the fest as “more than a competition — a celebration of curiosity, innovation, and the spirit of scientific discovery.” He was joined by Dr. Ushaprabha N Nayak, Vice Chairperson; Mr. Ankush N Nayak, Director of IT; Prof. Ramachandra Bhat, Principal; and Ms. B Rakshitha Prabhu, Assistant Programme Director and Lecturer in Chemistry.

The fest will feature four engaging segments:

X-Quizit: A science and mathematics quiz testing knowledge and analytical skills.

X-IgnAIte: An AI workshop and web app development challenge.

X-Zibit: A model-making contest evaluating innovation, accuracy, and real-world relevance.

X-Sight: Interactive demos and Q&A sessions with Expert faculty.


Each school can nominate 8 students (4 teams of 2), with one team in each category. All participants will receive certificates, and winners will be awarded first and second prizes. The Overall Championship Trophy will go to the school with the highest cumulative score.

Registration is open until September 20, 2025, at xcelerate.expertedu.co.in, and only registered teams will be eligible to participate.
