ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ, ಮಾ.22 : ಕಾಡು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಹಸುಗೂಸನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋದ ಘಟನೆ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಕಿಗೆ ಬಂದಿದೆ.
ಬೆಳ್ತಂಗಡಿ ತಾಲೂಕಿನ ಬೆಳಾಲು ಗ್ರಾಮದ ಕೊಡೋಳುಕೆರೆ ಎಂಬಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟನೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ. ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ಮುಂಡ್ರೋಟ್ಟು ರಸ್ತೆಯ ಪಕ್ಕ ಕಾಡು ದಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಾಲ್ಕು ತಿಂಗಳ ಹೆಣ್ಣು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಬಿಟ್ಟು ಹೋಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿ ಪೊಲೀಸರಿಗೆ ಒಪ್ಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ಮಗುವಿನ ಹೆತ್ತವರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಹುಡುಕಾಟ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಧರ್ಮಸ್ಥಳ ಠಾಣೆಯ ಪೊಲೀಸರು ಸ್ಥಳಕ್ಕೆ ತೆರಳಿ ಪರಿಶೀಲನೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ್ದು ಮಗುವನ್ನು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಶಕ್ಕೆ ನೀಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸ್ಥಳೀಯರಲ್ಲದ ಮಗುವಿನ ಪೋಷಕರು ಯಾರೆಂದು ಪತ್ತೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
