ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 9500 ಕೇಜಿ ತೂಗುವ, 6.5 ಮೀಟರ್ ಎತ್ತರದ ಕಂಚಿನಿಂದ ನಿರ್ಮಿತ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಲಾಂಛನ ರೆಡಿಯಾಗಿದೆ. ಚತುರ್ಭುಜ ಆಕೃತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಿರುವ ಸಂಸತ್ ಭವನದ ಮೇಲ್ಭಾಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಚಿನ ಬೃಹತ್ ಲಾಂಛನವನ್ನು ಇರಿಸಲು ಸಿದ್ಧತೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಸೋಮವಾರ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ಋತ್ವಿಜರು ಪೂಜೆ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಿದ ಬಳಿಕ ಪ್ರಧಾನಿ ಮೋದಿ, ಲಾಂಛನವನ್ನು ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಹೊರಜಗತ್ತಿಗೆ ತೋರಿಸುವ ಅನಾವರಣ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಸಿದರು. 9500 ಕೇಜಿ ತೂಗುವ ಲಾಂಛನವನ್ನು ನೇರವಾಗಿ ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸಲು 6500 ಕೇಜಿ ತೂಕದ ಸ್ಟೀಲ್ ರಚನೆಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಆಗಲಿದೆ. ಲಾಂಛನದ ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಕೆಲಸವನ್ನು ಕೈಕುಸುರಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದೇಶದ ವಿವಿಧೆಡೆಯ ನೂರಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಗಳು ಆಗಮಿಸಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಚಳಿ, ಮಳೆ, ಬಿಸಿಲಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ವ ಋತುವಿನಲ್ಲೂ ಒಪ್ಪುವಂತೆ ಶಿಲ್ಪದ ರಚನೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
